You Choose!

This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. Jeremiah 17:5 NLT

We live in a world today when men like to think they can do it all. When you listen to them speak and they are so arrogant. They believe that they don’t need God. They think that only the foolish and the weak trust in God. These individuals rely on their own strength and credit their prosperity and success to their own doing. God said that those who do such things are cursed. Sometimes we look at them and we wish for what they have. Don’t, because the Bible says that they are cursed.

In Psalm 37: 35-36 David said that he saw them flourishing; you know having lots of money, fame, fortune but when he looked again, they were gone.  He said that he searched for them but couldn’t find them.  In contrast, in Psalm 1:3 say David says, those who trust in God are like a tree whose leaves will not wither and they will prosper in whatever  they do. In other words, God blesses those who trust in Him. So you have a choice to make. You can choose to be self made individuals or you can choose to trust in God.  The choice is yours.
