Life In Its Fullness

A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow! John 10:10 TPT

There is purpose in every life. The purpose can be either positive or negative. Even a thief has purpose. A thief is someone who takes your possessions or services without your consent. In other words, a thief is someone who violates you and your space. This thief wants to do more than a regular thief. He is not content to rob you; he wants to slaughter and destroy you. When someone dies during a robbery, that thief could be charged with felony murder, not manslaughter. That is what the enemy wants to do in your life: kill your witness; kill your ministry; kill your influence.

In contrast, Jesus said in John 14:6 , “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” The woman at the well was confused when Jesus offered her water that leads to eternal life. John 4:13-14, “Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” The woman found more than she could ever imagine. That experience changed her life. The same people she was hiding from, she ran to them to tell them about the rich and satisfying life that can only be found in Jesus.

Thought for Today: Life or destruction, you choose

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory
