Walking In God’s Favor

This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God. Genesis 6:9 NLT

Everyone wants to have a good reputation. There is not one person on earth who wakes up every morning and goes, “Let me see what I can do so that people can say some really nasty things about me.” But Noah had the distinction of being a blameless man; the only one alive at the time. In other words, Noah was a man of integrity. The dictionary defines integrity as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. A person of integrity does the right thing in a reliable way. How can people accomplish this? Well when you look at Noah’s life, you can see that walked in close fellowship with God.

TB Joshua says, “You are who you are by virtue of the company you keep.” When you spend time in the presence of God, people will know. Noah took the time to fellowship with God. As a result, God’s characteristics began to influence Noah’s life. So while the people in his day began to live in a manner that displeased God. When God looked down, He found that man had developed a lifestyle that was totally evil but,  But Noah found favor with the Lord.” If you want to find favor with God, spend time with Him.

Thought for Today: Spend time with God and let your life reflect His presence.

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
