Let God Lead

Everyone wants to experience the best that life has to offer. They make plans and hope these plans bring them success. Unfortunately, some plans succeed while others fail because man’s vision is limited. It’s impossible to tell about the pitfalls that lay in the plans that were made. So when the plans fall apart, people become hopeless. They can’t understand what went wrong. “O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps” Jeremiah 10:23. Self made plans fail because the people making the plans have no idea what the future holds.

There are many reasons why man would love to continue to make his own plans but one compelling reason to turn over the plans to God. Parents love their children and although they allow them to choose which toys they want to play with, there are some decisions parents make without their children’s input.  Parents would not allow their children to decide where they work or which community they should live. It is the same way with God. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Psalm 37:3.  Trust God to direct your life: He knows what’s best.
