Reserved! When you walk into anyplace and you see the word reserved, when it applies to you, it makes you feel important. It means that this place is set apart for you. Although others can enter the environment, reserved says that this place is booked for your use.
The time we spend with God in the morning, is time that we choose to spend with Him. David understood the benefit of quiet time when he wrote in Psalm 5:3 AMP, “In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will prepare [a prayer and a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].” There are benefits when we keep the appointment for that reserved, quiet time.

We have no idea what our day holds but God knows the issues that await us during our day. Quiet time spent with God in the morning empowers us to face our day. In the presence of God, is the strength we need to face the challenges of the day ahead.
As we spend quiet time with God, we will begin to notice changes in our lives. In my own life, I have seen changes in me. Things that used to get under my skin, so to speak, no longer has the same effect. The way I react to certain issues has changed. Doing what’s right has becomes easier. I spent less time trying to put my own personal spin on my actions, instead I’m more submissive to the will of God.
We feel special when things and time are kept especially for us. Let us give God that honored place in our lives and keep that reserved quiet time with Him.
