Sometimes we forget to show gratitude for the kindness that has been shown to us. How do you respond when you have experienced the kindness of others? Far to often, we neglect to acknowledge the goodness of God and man.
Joseph’s help forgotten: Genesis 40:23 NLT
Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer, however, forgot all about Joseph, never giving him another thought.
Slavery in Egypt forgotten: Numbers 16:13 NLT
Isn’t it enough that you brought us out of Egypt, a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us here in this wilderness, and that you now treat us like your subjects?
David’s protection forgotten: 1 Samuel 25:21 NLT
David had just been saying, “A lot of good it did to help this fellow. We protected his flocks in the wilderness, and nothing he owned was lost or stolen. But he has repaid me evil for good.
Mordecai’s help forgotten: Esther 6:3 NLT
“What reward or recognition did we ever give Mordecai for this?” the king asked.
His attendants replied, “Nothing has been done for him.”
Wise man forgotten: Ecclesiastes 9:15 NLT
A poor, wise man knew how to save the town, and so it was rescued. But afterward no one thought to thank him.
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
Lord, help us never to forget to be grateful, thankful, appreciative and kind.
