One of the challenges of life is a lack of understanding. Most, if not all of us, want to have some semblance of understanding what is happening around us. So many times, we ask why. Why do we have to live through this difficult moment? Why is my child sick and suffering? Why can’t I seem to get ahead even when I do everything that is right?
Many times, we want to understand before we can move forward. We look around and going forward does not make sense. So, we bring that attitude into our walk with God. We want to understand what God is doing and if we don’t understand, we resist the plan of God for our lives. 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP, for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]. God expects us to put our faith in His ability to do what He promised He would do.
God has promised us His presence. In Hebrews 13:5 NLT says, For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” We have God’s promise that He will never leave His children. We don’t have to worry about what is happening around us, we need to remember that 2 Corinthians 1:20 AMP says: For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God. So, let us go forth and walk by faith in God.
Thought for Today: Friend, let us believe God’s promises.
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
