God places a high priority on obedience. God expects us to obey. There are blessings when we obey and consequences when we do things our way. We all have a choice to make, Are you going to obey God?
Acts 5:29 AMP
Then Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than men [we have no other choice].
John 14:23 AMP
Jesus answered, “If anyone [really] loves Me, he will keep My word (teaching); and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling place with him.

Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice,
and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.
Exodus 23:22 AMP
But if you will indeed listen to and truly obey His voice and do everything that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.
