What does it mean to trust God? Many of us have difficulty putting our answer into words; when we investigate the Psalms, the Psalmist did not have difficulty articulating why he trusted God. What can you learn from him?
Psalm 9:10 AMP
And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You,
For You, O Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.
Psalm 37:4-5 AMP
Delight yourself in the Lord,
And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord;
Trust in Him also and He will do it.
Psalm 46:10 AMP
“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 112:7 AMP
He will not fear bad news;
His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the Lord.
Psalm 118:8 GNT
It is better to trust in the Lord
than to depend on people.
