In business, companies are known by their brand. When a company has been around a long time, their brand has value. Today, Chase Bank is not owned by the original company; but their brand is powerful. It represents the quality of services the public expect and continues to receive from them. The Chase brand remains strong.
Jesus is better than the Chase Brand; His brand is that He never changes. He’s consistent; He’s dependable; He’s trustworthy; He’s credible. He’s all that and more! Hebrews 13:8 NLT says, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. How many organizations can make that claim? Not one! They try their best to be consistent, but failures occur. God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 23:19) What do you do when you are the recipient of exceptional service? You tell others.
Let me tell you, Jesus Christ is someone you can trust; He will never let you down. So many times, we are disappointed because people and organizations violate our trust. Sad but true, sometimes we fail Him but even in our failure He remains true. When we need someone dependable, we can look to Jesus. His brand is more powerful than any brand or person on earth. He’s our unchanging God.
