Faith! It is a word we use and sometimes we are not sure what it means. Romans 1:17 NLT says, This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” If we want to walk with God, we need faith.
Hebrews 11:1 GNT
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.
Matthew 21:21-22 NLT
Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
Romans 10:17 NLT
So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
Mark 10:52 AMP
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith [and confident trust in My power] has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Jesus on the road.
Hebrews 11:6 AMP
But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.
