Dress Correctly

When the Apostle Paul spoke to the early church, he and the other apostles often used the words clothe yourselves. In other words, they were saying that we, as people of faith, should dress correctly.

Galatians 3:27 NLT
And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.

1 Peter 5:5 NLT
In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Romans 13:13-14 NLT
‭Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. [14] Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

Romans 12:2 NLT
‭Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

‭Colossians 3:17 NLT‬
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
