Instructions! It can be both a curse and a blessing in our lives. The instructions are dependent on the integrity of the instructor. If the instructor has high moral standards and what is best for the people, then the instructions can be a blessing.
When God was preparing the people to leave Egypt, He provided an example of excellent leadership, He gave them instructions. Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “These are the instructions for the festival of Passover. No outsiders are allowed to eat the Passover meal. (Exodus 12:43 NLT). The purpose of instruction is to help people learn. So, He gave them directions for every stage of the process. Some were specific to the time, like the instruction to go the Egyptians and ask for gold and silver. Some are for life like the instruction to celebrate the feast of Passover every year.
Then we see these instructions. No outsiders allowed. There is a message in that for us today. There are things in our walk of faith that are open to everyone and there are some elements where outsiders are not allowed. Ezra 4:3 says, But Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the other leaders of Israel replied, “You may have no part in this work. We alone will build the Temple for the Lord, the God of Israel, just as King Cyrus of Persia commanded us.” Let us also follow God’s instructions.
Thought for Today: Friend, follow God’s instructions and learn.
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
