Peace! It’s a wonderful thing to have in your life. We are conditioned to believe that peace happens when there is no conflict. That is only true in the political world. You can have peace in your life even in the midst of turmoil and pressing circumstances.
“When we put our cares in His hands, He puts His peace in our hearts.” (The Daily Bread March 2017). Peace comes as we surrender all our cares to the Lord. “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7 NLT).
We don’t have to wonder if we can have peace in the midst of turmiol. God gives us peace, not a peace that is dependent on external circumstances but a peace that comes from Him.That is why Paul says that it exceeds anything we can understand. The peace of God will guard our hearts. When fear, anxiety, and the cares of this world come knocking at our heart’s door; we have a choice. We can let them in and make them comfortable, or we can put our cares in His hands and allow Him to put His peace in our hearts.
