Power of God’s Words

Parents want their children to excel in school. Yet there are  some topics that are in direct conflict with what we learn in the Bible; creation is one of these topics. It is in direct contrast of the word of God. In the field of geology, mam makes an attempt to explain how the earth was formed. They are looking at what they can see to explain the formation of the earth.

If faith in God means that you believe what He said He will do, then it also means that you believe what He said He did. Hebrews 11:3 NLT tells us, “By faith we understand that the entire  universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” The first verse in the Bible tells us, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1). He didn’t go in the backyard of heaven looking to see what was there. No! God spoke the world into being. We know that because the Bible records, “Then God said,” eight  times in Genesis 1.

Isn’t He an awesome God? The fact that God created the earth with His words baffles the scientific community. They lack faith to believe, so they developed a framework of theories to explain God’s actions. Whose report do you believe? I will believe  the report of the Lord.

Thought for Today: Friend, I choose to believe the word of God.
