Trust God: He is Faithful!

Journeys are a part of life; life itself is a journey. The Walk of Faith is no different, we are traveling from one place to another. We all have different starting points, but we have a shared destination; we want to see Jesus Christ face to face as our loving savior. That is the most important journey we can undertake in life.

There are times that we can become discouraged. In Philippians 1:6 AMP, the Apostle Paul  said, “I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” He was confident in the faithfulness of God. When Esther and her people were in exile, there was a man who decided that he wanted to get rid of them. He manipulated the king to sign a decree that would cause the death of Esther and her people.

Esther decided to risk her life to see the king so that she could petition the king for the life of her people, even if it cost her life. God demonstrated His faithfulness and power. Although, the king could not reverse his decree, he gave them the ability to defend themselves and not one of them lost their life. So, Paul confidently encouraged the believers to remain faithful to God. He knew that God would not abandon His children when the going gets rough. In those times, God shows up and shows off!

Thought for Today: Friend, God will never abandon you.
