When individuals talk about vision, it usually involves a conversation about the eyes and the ability to see. It is common today for leaders to talk about vision for the organization they lead. When they talk about vision, they are talking about what they would like to see in their organization in the future.
Habakkuk 2:3 NLT says: “This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.” Unfortunately, the process takes time, and waiting is never easy, especially when we allow the world to dictate our response. We have embraced the microwave mentality and anything that takes time is a challenge. But that does not change God’s timing.
The Apostle Paul said: “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9). God has a perfect time for everything. So today when you find yourself becoming impatient, remember that God’s vision will come to pass in God’s perfect time. Be patient as you wait for it.
Thought for Today: God’s timing is perfect.
