Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Proverbs 3:5 TPT
In life, we really want to trust God. The word trust means to believe on the reliability, truth, ability or strength of someone, in our case God, to do what He says He can do. The scripture says to trust Him completely. In other words. we need to trust Him without reservations.
The society in which we live teachers us to be cautious. We cannot trust the people around us so we lock our doors and install gadgets so we can check on our homes while we are at work. So, we bring God down to our level and what we know and understand. We handicap Him and put Him in a box and when everything around us fails, we wonder what kind of God is He!
If we want to see the change we desire, let us give Him the opportunity to be God in our lives. Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing is impossible with God.” He is able to come into our circumstances and make change the same way He brought change when He healed the leper and opened the eyes of the blind. Don’t rely on what you know, trust God.
