But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” God replied to Moses, “I Am Who I Am. Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you.” Exodus 3:13-14 NLT
Moses was having an experience with God. Everything was happening so quickly that he was having difficulty processing the information. He walked by and saw a burning bush and that experience transformed his life forever. He had to say goodbye to the sheep because now he had the responsibility of leading people. That didn’t stop the butterflies from flying around in his stomach. The more he spoke, the more concerned he became. You see, Moses was trying to imagine accomplishing this task in his own abilities. When God sends you on a mission, He leads from the front.
In our lives, most of the time, it’s not that simple. For the most part, things start to line up. It might be a bunch of seemingly unrelated events that come together and becomes your call to action. Those events signal the beginning point of your mission. When that happens it can bring fear in your life. Don’t be alarmed! God has everything under control. Just remember that “I AM WHO I AM” is with you.
Thought for Today: He will not send you on the battlefield alone
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
