Who else is like the Lord among the gods? Who is glorious in holiness like him? Who is so awesome in splendor, A wonder-working God? Exodus 15:11 TLB

Fall is the most colorful season of the year; there is color all around. In the spring and summer, the leaves are green; but in the fall, the leaves range from brown to orange. A walk in the park leaves you awestruck; the colors are simply beautiful. How did this happen? Well in the spring and summer leaves are producing chlorophyll, but as the temperature changes and the days are shorter, the leaves stop producing chlorophyll. This allows the other pigment in the leaves to become visible and all those beautiful colors become part of the fall landscape. When you look at the colors of fall, you can see God’s glorious splendor.

When you say that God is glorious, it’s not just about the beauty of creation, it includes His mighty acts. When the children of Israel were in Egypt, they cried unto the Lords to deliver them. God delivered them with a mighty hand; they had no idea how to escape the clutches of Pharaoh and his powerful army. But God presence with them brought deliverance and freedom from Pharaoh and Egypt in such power and majesty that all the world knew that God is glorious.

What do you do when you experience God’s presence? It drives you to praise him. Moses and his company did just that in Exodus 15. They began,  I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; He has thrown both horse and rider into the sea.” It must have invoked terror in their hearts when they saw the Egyptian Army pursuing them as they were crossing the Red Sea. You see, God designed that crossing to deliver them. When the waters closed, the army perished before their eyes. God’s presence made the difference. God is glorious; He shows up and then we can say like Moses, “Who is glorious in holiness like him?” He is a wonder-working God.

Thought for Today: Friend, God’s presence makes a mighty difference.

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
