We live in a world today where truth is regarded as error and error is hailed as truth. Now men have difficulty accepting the truth of God’s word because truth has no value anymore. But one thing that has not changed in the new landscape of truth and error is that God’s word remains true.
Truth is the self-expression of God; the dictionary defines truth as facts; not what people believe. So, our belief system has no impact on the truth of anything. We have been conditioned to use people to determine if a statement is true or false regardless of the facts. Psalm 18:30 tells us, “God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.” All His promises prove true; God’s word is true.
The writer said that God’s way is perfect. Perfect means completely free from faults or defects. It’s difficult or rather it’s impossible to find a human being without a fault. In Isaiah 45:19, God said, “I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the Lord, speak only what is true and declare only what is right.”
God’s word is true and if He said, “Seek me!” He is waiting for you. “Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 AMP) He is waiting to be discovered by those who seek Him.
