Praise means to tell. When we praise God, we talk about His goodness. We are thankful for His blessings, and we want to tell God and others.
Why do we praise God? Psalm 150:2 NLT
Praise him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled greatness!
Who should praise God? Psalm 67:31 NLT
May the nations praise you, O God.
Yes, may all the nations praise you.
How do we praise God?
- With Singing: Psalm 9:11 NLT
Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Jerusalem.
Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds.
- With musical instruments: Psalm 150:3-5
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
- With lifted hands: Psalm 134:2 NLT
Lift your hands toward the sanctuary,
and praise the Lord.
Let us all praise God: Psalm 150:6 NLT
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
WOW – I truly love this reading. I love to praise God, sometimes I am lost for words when I think of his goodness and mercy I am overwhelmed in just giving Him praises.
