Developing our Prayer Life

If you want to experience success as a child of God, you must make time to pray. When we spend time with God, we become more like Him. Prayer turns our hearts to God and so, when we pray, our hearts align with God’s desires and God answers our prayer. Let’s be obedient and pray.

1 Timothy 2:1 NLT

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.

Matthew 5:44 AMP

But I say to you, love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Philippians 4:6 NLT

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Colossians 4:2 AMP

Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving.

Romans 12:12 AMP

Constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength]

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
