For many people, there is joy in serving others, but that lifestyle is mandatory for the child of God. God gave His Son and His Son gave His life. We are the recipients of saving grace and that should drive us to gracefully serve others.
Philippians 2:6-7 NLT
6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
