Deliverance Through Trusting God

When things go wrong and you face the challenges of life, people of faith will tell  you to trust God. If you are not in that place, you often don’t know what they mean. You are focused on the issue you are facing. The Bible is filled with characters who trusted  God. When David faced Goliath, his trust was in God. When Moses faced the Red Sea, his trust was in God. When Daniel was in the lion’s den, his trust was in God. These people faced challenges, and they had to depend on God for a favorable outcome.

Can you imagine the terror of knowing that you will be the lion’s next meal? There is no account of Daniel going into the den kicking and screaming. He was calm, trusting his God. The king who gave the orders recognized that he was manipulated so that Daniel would be lion’s food, but they had no idea how mighty Daniel’s God is.

After a sleepless night, the king went to check on Daniel. Daniel said, “God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.” (Daniel 6:22 NLT) Times change, but people don’t. When wicked individuals manipulate situations so that you can be a lion’s meal, trust God. He will never disappoint you.

Thought for Today: Friend, in difficult situations, trust God.

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
