Called for God’s Purpose and Plan

Have you ever had the worst experience of your life, and you feel like the bottom fell out and you are floating in midair? Sometimes life can throw some things at us that make it difficult to navigate the simple things in life. We are unable to make decisions because everything is a blur. Suddenly, everybody knows why you are in crisis.

What do you do when you have to face this crisis, the one that threatens to derail your life, alone? That is the time to turn and read Romas 8:28 AMP, And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. Even in the painful journeys in life God has a plan. How can that be? We are God’s people called according to God’s plan and purpose.

Does that mean we wouldn’t feel pain? Yes, we will feel pain, but God does not waste anything; there will be purpose in our pain. The experience might be difficult, but God will perfect His plan in us as we learn to trust Him in our storm. You see,  God calls us and sets us apart for His purpose. (Romans 1:7)  We are called by His marvelous grace; (Galatians 1:15) and we are called to live a life worthy of our calling. (Ephesians 4:1). When God calls us, He will work every experience that comes our way for our good and in the end, God will get the glory.

Thought for Today: Friend, live worthy of your calling.

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
