Let Him Lead!

He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:3 NLT

When small children walk with their parents, their parents hold their hands. This prevents them from wondering off and also allows them to walk without stumbling. Sometimes in walking you can stumble and fall. It’s comforting to know that that there is someone watching over you who cares about you and is willing and able to protect you. Job 38:41 asks, “Who provides food for the ravens when their young cry out to God and wander about in hunger?” The answer is, God does. If God is so concerned about the welfare of the ravens, imagine how much He cares about you.

It’s great to have someone watch over you, but what do you do when they are unavailable? You can be at the mercy of your enemies. God’s protection is not a part time hobby. No! He is committed to your well-being. The Psalmist doesn’t say you will not fall but that He will prevent you from stumbling. Our God shines enough light in your path to make the dangers known. Proverbs 1:33 says, “But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.” What a promise! God is faithful, if He said you will live in peace, you will as long as you trust Him and let Him take the lead. If you take heed, you will not stumble. However, if you stumble, it could mean that you are not allowing the Savior to lead. Let Him lead and live in peace.

Thought for Today: God cares for you

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.

  1. God promised he will take care of us. He said it so he will. How sweet it is to know we don’t have to worry. Ahh God is good. Bless day Pastor Scott.

    1. It’s a good reminder that when I begin to stumble maybe I’ve wandered too far away from HIM. It’s comforting to know I can come boldly to the throne through his ultimate blood sacrifice that proves HE loves ❣️me.
