The man replied, “Who appointed you to be our prince and judge? Are you going to kill me as you killed that Egyptian yesterday?” Then Moses was afraid, thinking, “Everyone knows what I did.” Exodus 2:14 NLT
Moses was a man born with a purpose. God provided for him in a miraculous way. He was a Hebrew boy, raised as an Egyptian prince but with Hebrew values. Everything was going well until he saw a fight between an Egyptian and a Hebrew. He killed the Egyptian. But the man told his community about the incident. So when he tried to tell two Hebrew men not to fight with each other, they threw that incident in his face. Moses became alarmed and fearing for his safety, he ran away.
You would think that running away, derailed the purpose for Moses’ life. Sometimes the things you think will derail your mission are the things God will use to prepare you and enhance your mission. When he left Egypt, no one thought that he would return. There was purpose for his departure. There were some things he needed to learn; some skills that were impossible for him to develop in the palace. He spent forty years of preparation taking care of sheep. When life gets difficult, don’t worry. Sometimes you are in the developmental stage for your purpose. In January, there was a blog post, Your Mission Is Possible. Your mission was possible in January and it’s definitely possible in September. Don’t allow anyone or anything to derail your mission.
Thought for Today: Mission interrupted is not mission derailed
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory
“Sometimes the things you think will derail your mission are the things God will use to prepare you and enhance your mission…Sometimes you are in the developmental stage for your purpose.” Truth. Amen!

Delay does not mean denied. We may never understand why God allows events to happen in our lives, but one thing we know is He uses events to shape our purpose. Amen.
