The Greatest Joy

My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! James 1:2 TPT

There are seasons in life when everything is difficult. Life seems to be one hardship after another. You are at your wit’s end and you just cannot deal with one more crisis. Then what comes into your life? Another crisis and you are overwhelmed. But, James is saying, change the way you look at what is happening in your life. Don’t look at your circumstances like the worst thing that has happened to you, instead see it as  an opportunity to experience joy beyond measure.

How can my difficulty bring joy when I hurt so badly? Well first of all, that battle you are facing is not yours. You are not in that battle alone. That is enough to bring joy in your life. But it gets better. There are some blessings that don’t walk alone, they travel with difficulties. Verse 3 says,   “For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things.” Yes, that power to endure all things comes with a cost.  So the difficulty you face is the door that unlocks the power to endure all the difficulties in your life. In the end, joy comes in the morning.

Thought for Today: You can have joy beyond measure during the storm

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
