You Can Do It!

But Moses protested again, “What if they won’t believe me or listen to me? What if they say, ‘The Lord never appeared to you’?” Exodus 4:1 NLT

At some point in life, we have all been in that place. You know what you have to do but the concern is about how others would react to what you have to do. In other words, you make excuses. When the mission at hand is great, so is the confusion. The human side is always sure that they are not up to the task. They look at themselves and see ordinary men. God looks down and sees His servants with potential and ability.

Usually before God lays His hand on you for a mission, He has been preparing you. Moses’ preparation began in the palace as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter and ended in the desert taking care of sheep. He learned the language of the palace in Egypt and the patience of leadership in the desert. The experiences in his life made him the perfect candidate for the mission.

You cannot spend your time worrying about what others would say. Philippians 2:13 says,  For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” Don’t focus on their unbelief instead focus on what God can do in you and through you so you can accomplish His purpose.

Thought for Today: Trust God’s purpose and His plan

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
