Working God’s Plan

But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Exodus 4:10 NLT

After Moses wondered if people would really believe that he was sent by God, God took time to talk with Moses to build his faith. As soon as that excuse was no longer valid, Moses had another excuse. Moses was afraid to speak. He had issues with his tongue and he was afraid to go to Pharaoh even though God gave him signs to prove that God was with him. Sometimes people make excuses when they have to step outside their comfort zone. Moses found himself in uncharted waters. He was in a new season of his life and felt insecure and ill at ease.

When you face the challenges of your new season, don’t be afraid, you are up to the challenge. Jeremiah 29:12 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” When you feel overwhelmed, remember God has a plan for you.

Thought for Today: God has the plan under control

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
