Choose To Trust Him

But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.” Exodus 4:13 NLT

Well I thought with assurance from God that He will be the guiding force in his storm would’ve been enough to convince Moses that he was up to the task. Moses is now pleading with God to send someone else. You might be asking what is Moses’ problem? But let’s not get on that high horse. We behave the same way. We make excuses and behave just like him.

Moses was a novice in his walk with God at this time of his life. He walked in fear and doubt. But God is not like man; He is gracious and full of mercy. He did not cast Moses aside but continued to show him mercy. You see God knew something that Moses didn’t. He knew that Moses would become a pillar in the nation of Israel. The Psalmist said in Psalm128:1, “Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.” He understood something that Moses was in the process of learning.

When God persists with a project, He is not doing it to make you feel in adequate. He knows your potential. If you feel you are not up to the task that is clearly a sign that God has called you into service. God is not looking for ability otherwise, he would not have chosen Moses, a man who had difficulty with speech. God chooses those who would make themselves available to Him.

Thought for Today: God is looking for availability not ability

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory
