Workers With God

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

When you look at a great piece of art, you look at the quality of the work and talk about the workmanship. The value of the art is based on the artist. A painting by Vincent van Gogh has a lot more value than a painting by that new little known artist Claudette Scott. God is the ultimate master and we were created by God. We are His creation and we have been created for purpose. 

The MSG Translation says that God created us to join Him in His work. Hebrews 13:21 says, “may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.” That should define our walk. If we are to join Him then we need to prepare ourselves to accomplish the work He has set for us. In other words our life style should reflect the good things in us that are pleasing in His sight.
