Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalm 27:14 NKJV
Waiting! Just about everyone hates to wait. Children hate it: adults hate it; rich people hate it; poor people hate it. Nobody likes to wait. When David wrote this Psalm, he was in the midst of a crisis; his life was in danger. So David began, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” David did not allow his external circumstances to interfere with his vision of his God. From past experiences, he knew that he could trust his God to save him in the time of trouble.
David knew that God would rescue him so he concluded by encouraging those around him to wait on the Lord. In other words, David is saying don’t allow what is happening in your life to cause you to doubt God. Just stay where you are until God brings the change you need into your situation. Psalm 20:20 says, “Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.” Crisis is part of life. You can experience a crisis in your family, in your health, in your finances or in some other area of your life. Whatever the crisis, the solution is the same; wait on the Lord! In the midst of his crisis, David knew the answer was not in military force; he knew his answer would come as he waited on God.
Thought for Today: Trust God and wait on Him.
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory
Amen! Am walking in faith and victory. God bless you more.

One of my favorite scriptures is Isaiah 40:31:
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
