Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love]. Galatians 6:2 AMP
When you are working on a big project, there are many items that require being taken from one point to the next. Some items are heavy and some are not. There are some things that are so heavy that power equipment is necessary to move them. Then there are some items that require someone with added strength. If you do not possess that kind of strength, then you are in the wrong place.
The Apostle Paul told the Church in Galatia that they should carry one another’s burdens. What is a burden? A burden is an extremely heavy load. So if you see your fellow believer struggling with a heavy load, you should offer help. You might be saying, “What if that burden is too heavy for me to lift?” Well while it is important to help the weaker members with their grocery shopping, Paul was not talking about those kinds of burdens because you can pay to have your groceries delivered but there are some loads that people carry that cannot be seen with the eye.
Some people have emotional pain as a result of a traumatic experience. They are carrying a load of pain that is weighing them down. They can’t eat or sleep because the pain is more that they can bear. These are the burdens that the Apostle Paul was speaking about; the burdens that crush your spirit. Christian love dictates that you help that brother or sister. How? You can provide a listening ear. For some people, that is all they need; someone to listen. When you listen, you carried their burden and showed Christian love.
Another person might need strength from God to cope with their issue. You can take some time and pray for and with that individual. I’m not talking about briefly on Sunday and a few more minutes next Sunday. No! I’m talking about making a commitment to bring that person before the throne of God daily. There are so many ways that you can offer help to others; when you help others with their burdens, you fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ and demonstrate Christian love.
Thought for Today: Friend, help someone because one day you may need help yourself.
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
When you help someone then your living will not be in vain.

So true 🙏🙏🙏 sometimes people don’t verbalize what is taking place but we must learn to discern in the spirit and even their body language.
