The All-Knowing God

Who could ever wrap their minds around the riches of God, the depth of his wisdom, and the marvel of his perfect knowledge? Who could ever explain the wonder of his decisions or search out the mysterious way he carries out his plans? Romans 11:33 TPT

Children are a source of amusement; when they are really small, they think they know a lot; especially when they go to school. The little professors are in the classroom and they misunderstand something that was taught in class but would not accept their parents’ corrections because their teacher did not say that! They have confidence in the teacher’s knowledge but they are uncertain as to how much their parents know.

What do you do when you run into a problem? Do you rely on your own knowledge to find a solution? It becomes difficult to solve a problem when you don’t have access to all of the information. If you have a problem with your car, you can go online  to help you find a solution, but if you can’t correctly identify the problem, you might not find the answer you seek. The mechanic knows what can cause your car to malfunction and he will investigate every option. You see, the mechanic knows about cars.

The Apostle Paul describes God’s knowledge as perfect: without faults or defects. God is Omniscient, He knows all things; He knows the past, the present and the future. Daniel 2:22 NLT says, “He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light.” God is not caught off guard by anything that happens in your life. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28.

How does knowing this impact your life? Listen to what Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-32, “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’  These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.” It’s not that He knows what you need today and then He has to wait for tomorrow to know about tomorrow. The future is not a mystery to Him. So you can trust God with your tomorrow because He is the All-Knowing God.

Thought for Today: Friend, no need to worry; God knows all your needs.

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
