Christmas is a celebration of remembrance; we remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Nowadays it’s more of a celebration without remembering the birth of the one who made the season possible. There are those who believe that He was just another prophet but, even history had to acknowledge that His birth made a difference. His birth defined time on earth.

So, what does the birth of Jesus mean to us? It means that God is faithful, and He keeps his promise. Genesis 3:15 AMP says, “And I will put enmity (open hostility)
Between you and the woman, And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, And you shall [only] bruise His heel.” The prophet Isaiah said in Isaiah 9:6: For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given;
And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus’ birth is recorded in Matthew 1. All this happened in order to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet [Isaiah]: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel”—which, when translated, means, “God with us.” (Verses 22-23) So we remember and celebrate. However, this is a celebration with a difference. We celebrate His birth; His life and we look in anticipation to His return.
Merry Christmas: take some time and reflect on God’s gift to the world.
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
