God Gets the Glory

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28 NLT

There are moments in life when trusting God is easy because life is good. Just about everything is going your way. Then there are days when trusting God is not so easy and you have to make a decision that you will trust God through your circumstances. In those moments be reminded that Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

In those low moments when life is lonely and tears are your constant companion, God takes your heartaches and uses them to bring out something good in you.  Sometimes, that difficulty is your stepping stone into a new season in your life. Paul says it this way in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”. You might ask, “How can I be thankful when the pain in my heart is so intense?” But God is able to take the pain in your life and at the right moment, use the experiences from you pain to help someone in their pain. So good comes out of your pain and God gets the glory.
