God Rewards

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NLT

Just about everyone you meet will tell you that they believe in the existence of God. Then, there are those who have serious issues with the notion that God exists. Yet, when these people find themselves in a crisis, they talk about God as they look for a solution. The scripture says that if you want to go to God for help, you must believe that He exists. It’s impossible to call on someone who doesn’t exist to help you in a real crisis. So in order to please God, you must have faith in Him.

When God looked down from heaven, “The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.” Genesis 6:5. God decided to punish mankind for their evil; but Noah found favor with God. God asked Noah to build an ark. In verse 14 God commanded Noah saying, “Build a large boat from cypress wood and waterproof it with tar, inside and out.” Noah didn’t say, “God, do you know what you are asking me to do? Do you know what I will have to go through during the building of this boat?” Noah trusted God. His faith made a difference in his life. Yes he had some difficult moments but when the flood came, Noah and his family were safe. God rewarded Noah.
