Guide Me

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Galatians 5:16 NLT

The KJV begins this verse by saying walk in the Spirit. This version says let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. They both mean the same thing. If you want to live a successful life, you need to be guided by the Spirit of God. Why? You cannot live according to the dictates of your own desires and please God

Today, people are clamoring for control; if they are not careful, this world will come to a grinding halt because everyone would be their own boss. There is a place for everyone but it’s also important to know when to stop and submit. Submit has become a dirty word but if you look at the way things function, it’s done all the time. When you get behind the wheel of your car, you do so with the knowledge that it is safer for you and everyone else if you submit to the control of the traffic laws.

Failure to adhere could mean that you will not arrive at your destination. It’s that same way with the walk of faith. If you want to arrive at your destination safely, you need to submit to the Spirit of God. He will guide you and divert you from the harm and trouble you will get into on your own. Then you will arrive at you destination and hear , “Well done.”
