Only God!

Only God!

When the princess opened it, she saw the baby. The little boy was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This must be one of the Hebrew children,” she said. Exodus 2:6 NLT

Sometimes, one action can make or break your mission. Pharaoh decreed that every Hebrew boy child must die. One mother looked at her son and said he was too special to die. Do you know as mothers we believe that all our babies are special? So I can only imagine the pain that this order caused in the lives of the people who knew that their baby boys were marked for death.

Every mother wondered how to save her baby. However, this mother came up with a plan. She started by simply hiding the child. As he got older and his voice got stronger, she needed a different plan. She made a boat put him on the water and left his sister to look after him. When she stepped out in faith, God intervened and gave her an end that she couldn’t imagine

And for those of you who wonder if God has a sense of humor, read verse 9.The king wanted all the boys killed. His daughter took the boy, saved his life and used Pharaoh’s money to pay his mother to care for him. That’s the kind of God He is. In your impossible situations, He makes your impossible mission possible.

Thought for Today: Your Mission is Possible

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.

  1. I love the portion that states “As he got older and his voice got stronger, she needed a different plan… When she stepped out in faith, God intervened and gave her an end that she couldn’t imagine. ”
So many times as a parent, I have to adjust the way I do/ think/ approach things in order to accommodate the changes that children are going through-I can’t get comfortable in my ways, I have to shift outside of my comfort zone and trust God that what I don’t know God Almighty will help me as I seek HIS guidance. My prayer has been Lord show me what you have for me that I could not even imagine for myself.
