God’s Wonderful Love

For God’s mighty miracles astound me! His wonders are so delightfully mysterious that they leave all who seek them astonished. Psalm 111:2 TPT

Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool says in his heart that there is no God.” It amazes me when people look around at the wonders of nature and cannot see the hand of God. The gardener plants a single apple seed and is rewarded with a tree that can produce about one thousand apples. Parents are in awe when they see their baby for the first time. Yes in those moments, you understand why the Psalmist said God’s miracles astound him.

But he went on to say that His wonders are delightfully mysterious. Psalm 103:11-12 says, For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.” The most wonderful thing under the heavens is God’s love. God loves mankind with such great love that He sent His only Son to pay the price for the sin of the world. God didn’t say, they sinned, let them figure out how the fix the problem. Instead, God provided His Son, to pay the price that man couldn’t pay.

So how do you respond to that great love? God extends grace to all. He looks at man, knowing that the wages of sin is death and instead offers the gift of eternal life. Isaac Watts looked at the gift and responded, “Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all.” His wonders leave men astonished.

Thought for Today: God’s love is beyond understanding

Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory
