Thanksgiving is a special time of the year. This Thanksgiving is special. As we reflect on all that has transpired this year, we have to be thankful. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT tells us, “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” It doesn’t say to be thankful for all circumstances but in all circumstances.
There are many who began the year with us who are not here to celebrate Thanksgiving. There might be some sadness as you reflect, but there is every reason to give God thanks. So be thankful in all circumstances.
