Let Us Praise God

Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. Psalm 103:2 NLT

We have come to the last week of the year. There was great concern earlier in the year especially if you lived in the north eastern United States. Your concern was fixed on the next day or at most the next week. Most if not all, were in survival mode. Covid-19 was like a death sentence. But today we can look back and give thanks. God preserved us. Psalm 91:7 assured us that, “Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.” So we can thank God for preserving our lives.

There are countless individuals who are living through the side effects of Covid-19. Some got sick and recovered; others never got sick but they have experienced loss of jobs; loss of business; loss of family relationship. As people of faith, we saw changes in the way we worship. We are able to worship from a distance but we experienced the loss of fellowship. I believe that every life experienced some level of loss during this pandemic. But even as we experience loss, we can praise God. David understood this and declared in Psalm 23:4, “I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” So lets us praise God and never forget what He has done for us.

Thought for Today: May we never forget the goodness of God

Have a blessed day and Walk in faith and victory.
