The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. Proverbs 24:16 NLT
Many people believe that when you walk with God, everything goes well. The opposite is true; when you walk with God things go wrong many times. The writer of Proverbs state that the godly may trip seven times. What happens when you trip in your walk? Does that mean the end of your relationship with God? God loves you but hates your wrong so He will step in and restore if you want to restore your relationship with Him. King David understood this because he tripped but was able to find a place of forgiveness with God.
Every experience in your life has value, even when you trip and fall. So people talk about you for a while; they talk about everybody. But the fact remains that you walk for yourself and others. When a group of people are on a journey, they sometimes don’t travel in a pack but are at different points on the path. The leader might take a tumble but when he gets up, he is able to redirect the others on the same path. Your tumble teaches you to stay off a path because of the dangers along the way. It also benefits those who you meet. You have the opportunity to point them in the right direction. So although the godly may encounter some hardships along the journey of life, the godly will rise up and point others in the right direction.
Thought for Today: When you fall don’t stay down, get up
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
Excellent lesson! Falling doesn’t means the end of us.
