People love it when we say thank you for the services they provide in our lives. When you exit the bus, it’s polite to thank the bus driver. Many might say that is his job. Think about when you ride the bus at the same time each day, and you are not at the bus stop and the driver stops for you anyway. He went above and beyond to show you kindness; tell the bus driver thank you and show him or her kindness. This applies to all who provide a service in our lives.
Luke 6:31 AMP
Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.
Luke 6:35 AMP
But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious and good to the ungrateful and the wicked.
Ephesians 4:32 AMP
Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.
Hebrews 13:1-2 AMP
Let love of your fellow believers continue. Do not neglect to extend hospitality to strangers [especially among the family of believers—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Micah 6:8 AMP
He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?
Have a blessed day and walk in faith and victory.
Amen. Also, we should not become discouraged when our kindness is not acknowledged or appreciated by the ungrateful. We must not get weary in well doing.

Amen! That is key. I love Luke 6:35 AMP, which says, expecting nothing in return. If we apply that principle in our lives, then we would not become discouraged or weary.
